Certificates Of Origin
The Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce certifies certificates of origin for exporters shipping products out of the country.
Certification is available at the chamber office, but please call ahead at 781-273-2523 to make an appointment.
Certificate of Origin stamps are available free of charge to members of the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce. There is a $25 per stamp fee for non-members. For complete details on becoming a member, including all member benefits, please submit a brief, no-commitment application here.

Please adhere to the following steps to insure timely processing of your certificate of origin:
- Certificates of Origin must be filled out completely and notarized before being presented to the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce.
- Companies are responsible for understanding the specific documentation requirements for the destination country of their shipment, as these rules may vary. A standard certificate of origin form as well as other standard export documents can be found on export.gov
- Companies are required to sign an affidavit for certificate of origin with the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce.
- The product information listed must match verbatim what is on the invoice. Do not leave off numbers, quantities or descriptions.
- We highly recommend that you do not wait until the day of your shipment to bring in your certificate.
- The Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse any document we feel does not meet the stated guidelines.
